There has been 2 questions on my mind since I heard of them.
How do you Assend?
How do you make it to the Underworld?

Play through the game until you come to a desert. Beating the trials of the desert allow your character to ascend.

Through the Temple of the Ages in Kryta. You must be ascended to go there. It is also best that your character complete the game or almost complete the game so that they have the skills and knowledge to be able to handle the underworld.
